A: No, we do not recommend internal use.
Using essential oils aromatically, topically, and other external methods will provide the best and safest results, but ingesting essential oils internally actually will provide neither the most effective nor the safest health benefits.
We understand that some major brands in the current market do promote the internal use of essential oils, but they may very well be making such claims haphazardly simply for money-making motives. But not us at LAGUNAMOON™. There is just too much misguided information being spread by these unethical suppliers, greedy sales agents, and misinformed “ambassadors” of MLM Multi-Level Marketing companies about the supposedly “safe” use of essential oils internally.
No matter who tells you otherwise, essential oils are best used aromatically and through other external methods only, and not internally.
WHY NOT?
Therefore, for your safe and effective use, we recommend that you use LAGUNAMOON™ Essential Oils externally only.
A: Yes, our essential oils can be used topically, but they must first be diluted with one of our carrier oils. Lavender and Tea tree oils, for example, are commonly accepted as safe for “neat” application but we recommend doing a test on a small patch of skin prior to use to rule out any sensitivity with each essential oil.
A: Educating yourself on using essential oils during pregnancy can be difficult, as there isn’t a lot of information available on the subject. Pregnant and nursing mothers do not want to offer themselves, nor their children up for research in this area. Still, using essential oils in pregnancy and breastfeeding can be beneficial, but there are safety issues which should be assessed. For more information, please see this link:
A: No. We do not recommend using our essential oils on babies or children below the age of 3.
A: Our raw materials come from various parts of the world. For more specific information on each of our currently available 37 essential oils.
A: Yes, of course they can provide health benefits – both physically and mentally or spiritually.
A: Carrier oil, also known as base oil or vegetable oil, is used to dilute essential oils and absolutes before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy. They are so named because they carry the essential oil onto the skin. Carrier oils do not contain a concentrated aroma, unlike essential oils, though some, such as olive, have a mild distinctive smell. Neither do they evaporate like essential oils, which are more volatile.
A: There are just more ways in which we can use our essential oils to give us health benefits than we can describe in just a few sentences. How to use section in product page will give you reasonably good guidance.
